At times you will feel like you are in a different century while partaking in one of the traditional celebrations or festivals in a nearby village. Dance, music, lively parties. Famous also are the processions where people bear statues from the churches and we should also not forget the age old tradition of horse breeding with its beautiful saddles, equipment and clothing, which can all still be admired.

You might want to try out the castanets (the castañuelas, in Andalusia called palillos). The castañuela on the right hand has a slightly higher tone than the one on the left hand. The right one is also marked in order to be able to tell the difference. Just so you know, should you want to try them out yourself.
